SUMMER: What to see in Val Di Fiemme? Here are some offers you can't miss!

Discovering Val di Fiemme in summer means immersing yourself in unique landscapes, green valleys and Unesco heritage peaks. A valley that is very easy to reach directly from the Egna/Termeno exit of the Brenner motorway, about 25 minutes by car.

But let's see things in order. For those who are preparing to spend a summer holiday in Val di Fiemme, the proposals of Dolomiti Affitti are:

REFRESH AT THE CAVALESE WATERFALL

Beautiful and very easy to reach. You can admire the Cavalese waterfall from below or from the top of the panoramic terrace.

Nearby there is a refreshment bar and green areas equipped with tables and benches. Convenient parking nearby.

VISIT THE TOWER OF PISA

Yes, you understood correctly! We are not in Tuscany but in the Latemar Dolomites. The excursion to the Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the best known excursions and one of the most rewarding from a naturalistic point of view in Val di Fiemme.

The excursion that leads to the homonymous Torre di Pisa refuge is a splendid trek to do in the Dolomites of the Val di Fiemme. more precisely in the Latemar. It starts from Alpe di Pampeago and passing through the Passo Feudo refuge you arrive at the Torre di Pisa refuge.

LISTEN TO THE FOREST PLAYING

A musical itinerary among the fir trees that Stradivari chose for his violins. Walking in this place, above Predazzo, you come across the fir trees of Uto Ughi, Mario Brunello, Daniel Hope and many others, marked with a plaque. There is a real map with an application to download, thanks to which you can listen to the melodies associated with each tree.

ADMIRE THE BEAUTIFUL VAL VENEGIA

A splendid valley that can be reached from the road that leads to Passo Valles. From the car park you can reach Malga Venegia and Malga Venogiota at the foot of the Pale di San Martino, stop for a lunch based on typical products and admire the view. Suitable for everyone and for the more trained you can reach the famous Baita Segantini.

CYCLING IN THE PANEVEGGIO PARK

For mtb lovers, I recommend venturing inside the Paneveggio park, and discovering this enchanted forest, perhaps by paying a visit to the visitor center and the numerous roe deer present in the area.

ADMIRE THE VIEW FROM THE WHITE HORN

Among the excursions to do in Val di Fiemme, one of the most famous is the one that leads to the Corno Bianco. It starts from the Oclini Pass and reaches the summit of Corno Bianco, with a splendid panorama of the Adige Valley, Latemar and Catinaccio, then descends again and climbs to the top of Corno Nero, also this panoramic balcony of absolute beauty.

UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF THE MAGNIFICENT COMMUNITY

To understand the history, culture and traditions of the valley, I recommend paying a visit to the building of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, an early medieval institution, thanks to which the villagers for centuries have autonomously managed some aspects of common life, such as woods and pastures, with a beautiful art gallery inside and the rooms of the ancient palace.

MAKE A STOP AT THE MASO DELLO SPECK

An institution here in Val di Fiemme. The Tito Speck farm is an exceptional place, where aromas and flavors are combined with the own production of cured meats next to the tables of the restaurant, where it is possible to see live all the people who work to make sausages. But the whole Val di Fiemme is a paradise for the taste buds, I had already told you about it in my post "restaurants in Val di Fiemme", an opportunity to immerse yourself in the flavors of canederli, spaetzle, strangolapreti and risotto with mountain pine.

CHALLENGE THE FATIGUE FROM THE LAVAZE' PASS TO THE PALA SANTA

Passo Lavazè is famous for its winter landscapes which very often recall Nordic environments. Even in summer, however, it is worth a visit, even if only to admire the green meadows and stay in contact with nature. From Passo Lavazè, I recommend making the circular excursion that leads to the summit of Pala di Santa, following path 574 and 9 from where you can admire an incredible panorama of the Val di Fiemme and Latemar. Calculate about 4 hours and 770 meters in altitude).

These are some of the things that we would like to advise you to see in Val di Fiemme, obviously there are many others and that is why we invite you to visit this splendid Dolomite valley that will remain in your heart.

We are waiting for you !
